Tandars Have Special Abilities!
Hitching a ride:
Tandars love to hitch a ride with you and keep you company wherever you go. To allow them to grip your clothing, backpack, laptop screen or any suitable surface, simply squeeze their shoulder blades to open their little arms. Once the arms are opened place the hands on the area to grip and let go of the shoulder blades for gripping action. Will work on most surfaces including fabrics, hardwood, metal, plastics etc.
Personality:
Tandars hair can be styled simply by manipulating the top area of the head hair into the style you like. Style the hair into a feisty Mohawk style by pulling and shaping to a sharp point on top. Style the hair into a playful front bangs options by combing or manipulating the hairs down and towards the face. For any stylish look, simply manipulate and adjust the hair fibers into any personality you prefer!
Sight:
Tandars can see with their eyes. There are sensor in the eyes that allow the Tandars to detect hand movements in front of their faces and others when near. They will react by closing their eyes, turning away and making an annoyed sound when a hand or object is placed too close to their faces. When another Tandar is close by they will recognize each other and begin to converse in their language. Whichever sees the other first will be the one to initiates the conversation. They are very talkative so you may want to adjust their voices when they meet.
Note: The Tandar may not operate correctly under some florescent lights and bright outdoor sunlight.
Touch:
Tandars can feel the touch of your hand on their fur and interact with you and change their moods . There are 3 basic areas of touch on their body that will get a reaction. First area that they can feel is the top of the head and enjoys it as they think you are rewarding them by patting this area. The second area is the back of the head. They usually don’t like this area touched as they cannot see who is touching them. The third area is the back of the body.
This area is a normal area of touch to the Tandar and when you touch this area they feel you are caring for them.

There are basically 3 mood level the Tandars exhibit in characteristics, animations and vocal pitches. They start in the Good mood first. The second mood that they exhibit is the Inquisitive mood. The third level is the Annoyed/Fear mood. Discover the various ways that you can change the mood of your Tandar as you interact with it through touch and sight interaction.
Learn their language:
Listing of common known language traits in this creature’s vocabulary were observed over a period of 3 years under scientific scrutiny in their enclosed natural habitat.
We were able to determine some meanings of their communicative languages resulting in the most important Tanderese expressions listed here.
Since the bulk of their language is still a Mystery, If you can determine some of the meanings of their languages not listed, please send and we would be happy to add them here.
Tanderese expressions:
“Ahjee baz nam nam”: I am hungry please feed me.
“Oooh Eoooh”: I feel good.
“Rah oh de mah”: I am scared.
“Wooa oahh”: What’s that!??
How to care for your interactive pet:
Tandars are gentle creatures that require delicate handling of their small bodies. If the fur becomes soiled, use a gentle sudsy soap and a small clean towel to blot up the soiled area. They are similar to cats in that they dislike water so never immerse them into any liquid or permanent damage may result.
They will let you know when they are low on energy and hungry, They will say “Ahjee baz nam nam” and will start acting sluggish with eyes appearing sleepy.
To rejuvenate them simply plug their tails into any available USB receptacle and allow to charge for 15-30 minutes for a limited play time or charge them for 2-3 hours for a fully energized charge.
They will let you know that they are fully charged by hiccupping or burping.
Tandars can be put to sleep (turned off) by pressing the switch on the left hip area. You can locate the switch by touching the left hip area fur until you feel the protrusion of the switch. Pressing and holding down for approximately 5 seconds sends them into sleep mode. Press and hold this same switch for approximately 5 seconds to wake them up from its slumber.
Their volume can be adjusted simply by pressing the same switch and 3 repeating settings to the sound level which are low medium and high.
